Sorry about the lack of posts this week, I guess I needed to tell everyone that I'm back at school now (last year, then Uni, WHOO!) and have just super crazy busy. I've also been working all day.

So, what I eman to say is I probably won't be able to update the site quite as often as before when I was on Summer hols, but I still will try my best!

Would you? Could you?

I've tried a little experiment right now where I've got practically my only HotBuy and put it up for sale. Hotbuys have never really interested me as I prefer to just buy the clothes I like, and now sell them when I change my mind, but I bought these forever ago, maybe over a year. I've loved them as if they were my own but I've bought new shoes since then, and to be honest, don't really wear them much. And because I'm not interested in so- called "collector's items" I thought I'd put them up for sale.

So... I put them up for 30 sd.






Extortionate? Er... yes. But it's just an experimeant really, I'm not actually expecting anyone to buy them. Of course, if they do I'll be happy I've made 30sd, but to be honest, I'll also feel sorry for that person that spends that much. Although, if you have most other HotBuys I guess you might want the whole set.

Well, if you want them you know where to find them! I'll keep you posted :)

Wow, yet again, another new Masthead for the Blog. And still a pretty poor effort on my part. I tried my best but my Polyvore skills are very limited.

Yay I have finally got round to making a club on Stardoll for the Blog! It's about time really, I guess, but I just got really lazy. Did you know yesterday I worked for like 8 and a 1/2 hours. That's really boring when you're on a till in a supermarkete!

I did it!

I did it! I just bought a month's Superstar membership. Wow, I caved. I knew I would eventually. Oh well, I have jsut coem back from work, and I'm doing an 8- hour shift tomorrow. I deserve it!

BEWARE! Hacker Alert!

Oh, yep, there's a Hacker claiming to know a new version of the "loophole" which fakeshake3 knew only too well. Anywhoo, just be on your guard, because she claims to have access to a special computer program that allows you to have duplicates of any Stardoll item.

Anyway, she then claims you have to have a Superstar account first in order for it to work, and then, oh, this is it, she asks for your password. Oh... like she's not just going to steal your brand new superstar account! Wow, I just feel sorry for the poor people that actually believe her :(

And here's the icing/cherry/sprinkles/syrup on the top of this delicious sundae:

Wow! "Access to another Program that allows you to purchase items in the Stardoll store that are not yet released to the public." First of all... er- NO WAY! And secodnly, sicne when was Stardoll some huge database conspiracy act hiding special items that are not yet "released to the public?"

Isabella.Arci is a noob!

Further proof from her self- glorifying article on Perez's blog. Jeez, I thought Perez spposed to be against the Elites, so why must Isabella post her stupid incessant ramblings about her own success?

Well, I couldn't contain my anger any longer and has to comment back, like any sane, just person would do. I was about to say that I couldn't believe that Isabella was beign rewarded by Stardoll, but wait, actually I do believe it. Stardoll knows how much Isabella has spent on her suite and MeDoll (and we're talking hundreds here) and they've rewarded her for spending so much but giving her... wait for it: even more money! Wow, talk about a slap in the face! As if the princess doens't have enough money already, let's give her more!




Yeah, as you can I said what I felt. Oh, and before anyone comments back saying "Oh you're just jealous," there's no need, because yes, I am hella jealous. And don't see why she deserves it.

Roiworld Fun-ness!

I discovered the Korean website Roiworld a couple of years ago through dressupgames.com, a website that basically just has, well, Dress Up Games. This was the same website where I discovered Stardoll, although back then it was "Paper Doll Heaven" and there were no MeDolls, no StarPlaza and basically you just dressed up dolls. I miss the good old days...

Anyway, I go on Roiworld every couple of days when they have updates and since going on there the quality of dolls has improved vastly. The clothes are more quirky and unique, alot more of my style than alot of what Stardoll has to offer:

Oh, and this sort of relates to the blog because who can forget about the whole Roiworld/ I-dressup Style Magazine thing. I went on i- dressup a couple of years ago when it first started as well, but there's too many pop-ups and the quality isn't as good!

Exam Results!

Sooooo..., I'm getting my A-Level exam results tomorrow [eek!] and these basically decide whether or not I can continue in my studies for a year before going to University.
So.... its my head on the line. These are pretty darn important!

Snaps for the Hayden Panettiere for Candie's range. I actually like Hayden Panettiere! And the clothes are actually wearable and you can mix them up, as opposed to the "Abbey Dawn" Avril Lavinge line for Kohl's.

I so so so want the yellow and brown plaid mini! It reminds me of Cher's outfit in Clueless, which I love! It's also good because it's for non- superstars [i.e ME!] so everyone can enjoy the clothes! They're evn better than the newest line of DKNY clothes!

Sorry about the recent lack of updates but my computer is currently kaputt, so they may be an overall shortage for a while.
I'm writing this on my parents computer though but it sucks because I want my computer!!!
Nothing really amazing has happened lately at Stardoll...

• teenStyle was officially introduced... and let's not lie- it was kind of an anti- climax and v. boring!
• The new Avril Lavinge line has come out. Meh, it's second- rate stuff, Stardoll finally trying to jump onto the "emo" trend about 2 years too late.
• And not much else...

Anywhoo, like I said, don't expect too much at the mo while I wait for my computer to hopefully be fixed!

Best/ Worst Dressed @ teenStyle grand opening

There was plenty going on at the launch of teenStyle last night, the actual magazine not being one of them. Anywhoo, the fashions ranged from cute and pretty to bizarre and fugly. Here's my favourites... and least favourites.

BEST DRESSED:

Style_Magazine, hannah-denise (me!), model-selena

Style was wearing her signature monochrome and wasn't even really sticking to her own "teen flair" dress... but I still loved what she wore, which is saying something because usually she looks pretty hideous in her boring suits and silly ballgowns. Still- I wish she would sort her make-up out! The lipstick is awful!

Then there's yours truly in my grecian- inspired number doing what little I can with my small and limited wardrobe. I think I looked pretty good!

I really liked model-selena's outfit as well. The nude- beige dress is bang-on trend, and my only concern is the fact that she looks almost gift-wrapped and like a little parcel with the bow, but I let that pass. Shame about the birds nest on her head too...

RISKS THAT PAID OFF:

Britneys07, springate, chicago3

Britneys07 was certainly the belle of last night's ball and everyone was in awe at her stunning and unusual choice. Going for a "moulin- rouge" theme, I certainly think she looks divine, and I love the off- shoulder detail on her dress!

springate arrived fashionably late [although still not as late as the actual mag... well, front cover] and was sporting about 10 LBD's on top of one another. Did he pull it off? I think so, although the feather boa? Slightly trannylicious... but this is springate after all!

I wasn't convinced when I first saw chicago3's outfit. She was certainly begging people to take a look, but... yeah. It has grown on me, although I can't stand the little pink and grey bustier that's peeking out of the top.

RISKS THAT DIDN'T PAY OFF:

Kahlen08Heiress, Allison.Heart

Oh, Kahlen, Why? You are not a pirate! Sure, I love the trousers, and even the puffy- sleeved voluminous blouse. But the pirate vest? Why must you do that to yourself?!?! And don't get me started on the make-up and hair! Can you say hot mess...?

Allison.Heart has a good idea with the red Rose McGowan dress but she just can't pull it off. The clutch looks to informal with the dress... and underneath! Brown clunky platforms! Why!!!????

Okay, so I've been a bit negligent with the blog lately. I guess I just lost interest a bit. I've decided to incorporate bits outside of Stardoll as well.Of course, the main focus is Stardoll and everything that goes into the big bowl of sugar and spice and everything nice that Stardoll represents, but I'll also have snippets from my own life as well as fashion crap and other shizzle!

New Free Doll: Global Pattern!

Wahey! A New Free Doll, finally a post worth publishing. Not much has really happened in the world of Stardoll in the past week. New clothes have been launched with a 4th of July theme, and I especially love the prom style dresses available (so cute!). But also, a doll that is actually quite fun!




I actually really like this doll. All the outfits/ costumes are colourful, fun and bright, three things The Stardoll Reality love, and cannot live without.

See above our attempt of a luau doll with a kind- off Rio de Janeiro carnival twist! Ole!

About time!

Finally! Stardoll goes back to the good old days when they used external advertising. Perhaps now they can make some money off of that instead of scraping the bottom of the barrel and making Superstars pay for everything!

Us Non- Superstars want stuff too! We just like to save our money for real clothes, not virtual ones made of little rainbow pixels!

New Real Celeb??

Stardoll has hinted that there will be a new Real Celeb gracing the pages of Stardoll in the coming days.
The poll asks whether you think they're a singer, in movies, or a... tattoo artist.
Random- but perhaps it could be? Maybe we'll be seeing a MeDoll of Kat Von D of Miami Ink?

Here's my attempt at creating a cake on new Stardoll game, Wedding Cake.

Clearly my talent is better employed elsewhere, as you can see from my feeble attempt! I tried to go for a princess-y theme but, to be honest, it didn't really work out, and instead looks... ugh.
