About time!

Finally! Stardoll goes back to the good old days when they used external advertising. Perhaps now they can make some money off of that instead of scraping the bottom of the barrel and making Superstars pay for everything!

Us Non- Superstars want stuff too! We just like to save our money for real clothes, not virtual ones made of little rainbow pixels!

Kat Von D arrives!

The new Real Celeb to hit the streets of Stardoll is, as we predicted, Kat Von D of Miami Ink. The Doll followed her MeDoll and new line of cosmetics for Sephora. Here's a quick peek at what's available:

Here is her MeDoll. I personally don't think it particularly looks like her, and has more than a tint of Amy Winehouse to her. Kat Von D is so much prettier!

I love-love-love her Suite! The Gothic-ey theme she has going on looks completely kitsch and retro with the garish prints and bright colours! And the leopard rug on the bed- ingenious! Looks fabulous!

And as for her make- up range? Here's a quick look:

Love this!

Adore this!

Covet this!
OK, so we added the colourful hairstyle ourselves, but the make-up looks awesome too! I love the dark red lip colours, they look dark and mysterious, yet ooze sex appeal at the same time. And the liquid eyeliners are alot easier and fluid to use. Not that Non- Superstars can buy make-up.
O well!

Real Celeb: We were right!

It has been revealed that Kat Von D will be the new Real Celeb! In the Hot Buys catalogue it shows her with her new line of cosmetic for Sephora, soon to be arriving at StarPlaza.

We expect lots of bright colours and cool designs! And maybe tattoo transfers from the Shop! At the moment the only tattoo availible is the Idoru one, but is not very nice. We'd like to see some stars and hearts!

New Free Doll: Bob Bryar

This is the New Free Doll from Stardoll, Bob Bryar. No idea who he is! Anyone..?

Anyway here's the Doll. Meh, that's all I can say. Not really alot of choice, the same clothes in many dull, lifeless colours. That is often the case for male StarDolls.

Thoughts???

New Real Celeb??

Stardoll has hinted that there will be a new Real Celeb gracing the pages of Stardoll in the coming days.
The poll asks whether you think they're a singer, in movies, or a... tattoo artist.
Random- but perhaps it could be? Maybe we'll be seeing a MeDoll of Kat Von D of Miami Ink?

Who do you think could be the next Real Celeb???

Burn Book: New Entries!

Yay! It's what we've all been waiting for, what I like to call the SNOB SISTERS, Sudanese.Beauty and Model.Selena, have both been entered into RealHotBabe's BurnBook. And here's the catch: on the same page! The Stardoll community have obviously cottoned onto quickly the rumours circulating, and whether these people actually exist. Seeing as how they are both void of any personality, look almost completely the same and both resemble famous supermodels "Twiggy, Alek Wek", it's no surprise they appeared:

I think this BurnBook post really does epitomise the feelings everyone has surrounding these two "people." I personally think that thy are both figments of Style_Magazine's imagination, so she has some perfect cover girls for her lame- ass magazine.

*Snore*

Will you read teenStyle?

So, it's been announced that there will be a new creation from Style_Magazine, imaginatively titled teenSTYLE (whoever saw that coming?). So, basically we have Style, a copy of Vogue, and now we have teenSTYLE, a copy of teenVOGUE. Excuse my stupidity for one second, but I was under the faint impression that the original Style magazine was already for teenagers. The fact that the Editor is only 18 years old kind of knocks that back on the head, don't you think?

But wait, there's more. Here comes the really good part. Every one's favourite pretentious piece of nonsensical garbage, Model.Selena is the Editor of teenSTYLE. Yes, that's right. She's best friends with Style_Magazine, has already been a CoverGirl when Style was relaunched at the beginning of the year and is even rumoured by some to be the same person. So, can we expect a just as poncy, snooty, and frankly, quite boring magazine, which is supposedly aimed at "teens"?

You bet.

Wedding cake, anyone?!

Here's my attempt at creating a cake on new Stardoll game, Wedding Cake.

Clearly my talent is better employed elsewhere, as you can see from my feeble attempt! I tried to go for a princess-y theme but, to be honest, it didn't really work out, and instead looks... ugh.

Think you did a better job? Show me! Email me at thestardollreality@rocketmail.com. Any recieved pictures will be shown on the site at a later date.

Can we trust Perez?

It appears for the time being Isabella. Arci has left gossip blog Perez Hilton of Stardoll.

Perhaps now we can read, devour and delight in all the juicy gossip once again without Isabella's filthy paws trying to defend her every move whilst she becomes the "Queen B." Puh- lease. Let's save that title for Blair Waldorf!

XOXO

New Free Doll: Natasha Bedingfield

Natasha Bedingfield, brit- pop sensation who is currently enjoying success Stateside became the new free doll today. Here is our verdict:

My first impression was that finally, Stardoll has managed to make a doll that is moderately curvy and not made them look severly obese, such as is the case with many others, for example, Queen Latifah or Ashley Tisdale. My second thought was that, although this does look like Natasha Bedingfield, I could also see quite a strong resemblanc between this and Gwyneth Paltrow. Anyone else??

Next, I looked through the wardrobe available and to my dismay, was not that impressed. While the majority of the desses are very cute and wearable, I found the rest fo the clothes dreary, boring or just plain ugly. Here's my selection of my personal favourites:
1) Spring Wedding 2) Femma Fatale 3) Grecian Goddess 4) Soda Pop

The Current Stardoll Situation?

I think this collage created by yours truly really does sum up the current "elitist" hierachy system that is taking place on Stardoll. Note in the left hand corner the rant on the page of the disgraced springate. How she blames "non- superstars" for everything, as if we have some kind of disease. Also, how without Superstars, the website would cease to function. Er.. hello? Until the proper Superstar system was used, back in the good old days when Stardoll was in fact Paper Doll Heaven, VIP members contributed only by using the most exclusive dolls, and Paper Doll Heaven used external advertising. If Stardoll switched back to advertising they wouldn't need to rely so heavily on Superstar Members.

Stardoll Reality

So, friends. Here it is, this is The Stardoll Reality.

No longer can we trust blogger PerezHiltonofStardoll, since they too have become sucked into the egotistical, vain and self- obsessed world of the "Stardoll Elites." What was once a tongue- in- cheek gossip blog has all to soon just become a webpage of Elite Propaganda. It even contains articles submitted by this so- called "Queen of the Elites", three- time CoverGirl winner and all- round biyatch, Isabella.Arci herself.

So, now it's time for a Stardoll blog that tells exactly the truth. The Sardoll Reality
